Getting to Malibu
Arriving in California
Whether you're traveling across the country or just across Los Angeles, we're so grateful you're making the trip.
The closest airport is Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), about 45–60 minutes from Malibu depending on traffic.
Rental cars, Uber, and Lyft are readily available. Give yourself a little extra time—Southern California traffic likes to keep everyone guessing.
Safe travels—we can’t wait to welcome you to Malibu.

Turning one evening into a weekend is never a bad idea.

This has been on our list for years because it combines two things we love: being outdoors and ending the adventure with a great glass of wine. Meghan may be a reluctant participant when it comes to the hiking part, but happy hour at the finish line is a persuasive argument.

A Crowded Table

Dress Code
Formal Cocktail Attire
Think formal cocktail attire with a touch of Malibu magic. We'll be celebrating outdoors beneath the California oaks, where sunny afternoons often give way to cooler evenings, so we recommend bringing a jacket, wrap, or extra layer.
Jewel tones and deep romantic hues are warmly encouraged, but never required. Come dressed in something that feels like you.
Adults Only
A Night Out, Just for You
While we absolutely adore your little ones, our wedding weekend will be an adults-only celebration for guests ages 21 and over.
We hope this gives you the perfect excuse to book the babysitter, enjoy a well-deserved date night, and celebrate with us from the first toast to the last dance.
Guest List
Who Is Included?
We wish we could celebrate with everyone, but due to venue capacity, we are only able to accommodate the guests listed on your invitation and RSVP.
Timing
Please Arrive by 3:00 PM
The ceremony begins promptly at 3:30 PM. We recommend arriving by 3:00 PM to allow plenty of time for valet parking, a short walk to the venue, and finding your seat before the festivities begin.
Parking & Transportation
Plan Ahead for the Canyon
Complimentary valet parking will be available for all wedding guests. Simply pull up, hand over the keys, and let Calamigos take care of the rest.
Calamigos Ranch is tucked away in the Malibu canyons. The winding roads are beautiful by day, but they can be challenging to navigate after dark—even for experienced locals. We encourage guests to plan transportation in advance, whether that's Uber, Lyft, a car service, or nearby accommodations.
Unplugged Ceremony
Be Present for the Vows
We're planning an unplugged ceremony and kindly ask that phones and cameras stay tucked away while we exchange our vows.
Once the ceremony is over, we hope you'll capture all the hugs, happy tears, dance floor moments, and memories right alongside us.
The Bar

Absolutely. Our wedding will feature an open bar.
It will also be heavily photographed, so please plan your shenanigans accordingly.
